This lidded punch bowl, crafted from clear, milky white Bohemian glass (latticino), represents the restrained elegance of 1930s Central European design. Attributed to Czech manufactories and executed in the early decades of the 20th century, the vessel features a broad, barrel-shaped body, matched by a perfectly fitted lid with a knob handle. Hand-painted gold bands accent the form: three encircle the main body, two appear at the base, two beneath the rim, and a circular accent crowns the lid handle. Its construction is defined by geometric discipline, streamlined restraint, and carefully balanced proportions—hallmarks of early Art Deco aesthetics. The surface is glossy and even, revealing no other texture beyond the creamy translucency of the glass. All elements—including original gilding—remain intact and authentic for the period.
