This rectangular sugar box by Norblin, dating from around 1850–1860, represents Central European Classicist-Baroque decorative arts. Measuring approximately 13 × 9 cm and standing 8 cm high, the piece features a body crafted in cool, bright silver with a highly polished, mirror-like finish. Ornamental bands with floral and vegetal motifs accentuate both the upper and lower edges of the body and the lid. The box stands on four widely spread, sculpted feet inspired by animal forms or stylized foliage—a hallmark of mid-19th-century silverwork. The domed lid is detailed with facetted, geometric edges and a central cartouche bearing a high-relief floral composition. A subtly profiled front lock escutcheon completes the
