Designed in collaboration with Bafeo, our bas-reliefs combine visual appeal with practical use, absorbing sound and presenting a sculptural appearance. Each LUDISM project refers to legends, myths, and folk tales. Pansies are a symbol of loyalty and friendship. In Polish folk culture, pansies are often called 'bratki', literally 'younger brothers', and have long been associated with memory, remembrance, and family ties. Made and designed in Poland by Ola Niepsuj, Karol Pasternak, and Piotr Maciaszek. LEGEND: Pansies bloom as silent witnesses, carrying messages from beyond. Elderly women used to say they were 'brother's eyes', watching over those who had strayed from home. Children would secretly pick them and hide them in their pockets, hoping to dream of those they missed.
