This round table, dating from the 1920s–1930s, is crafted in the Biedermeier style with distinct Art Deco influences. The tabletop features a bookmatched walnut veneer that creates a strikingly symmetrical visual effect, accentuated by a semi-gloss finish that highlights the wood's natural grain and warm brown tones. The central, turned pedestal flows seamlessly into three gracefully curved supports with sculpted details – a hallmark of late Biedermeier and early Art Deco design. The proportions are balanced, with a solid, robust presence softened by elegant profiles. Constructed from solid wood and walnut veneer, the surface is smooth to the touch, with minor undulations and a few small veneer chips along the edge, attesting to its age and authentic use.
