This round dining table, designed by Harry Østergaard for Randers Møbelfabrik, exemplifies Danish modernism of the 1960s. The tabletop is finished in a warm, medium to dark brown rosewood veneer with clear, natural wood grain patterns, complemented by slender, gently tapering solid wood legs. The construction allows the table to be extended with two additional leaves, included with the piece, which significantly increases the tabletop length (up to 218.5 cm). The proportions are harmonious: the slightly thickened edge and apron give the table a robust visual presence, while the legs—typical of Scandinavian aesthetics—are seamlessly integrated into the frame without visible hardware. The satin to semi-gloss finish enhances the vibrancy of the wood grain without excessive sheen. The table is in good condition, with the surface refreshed
