This round dining table from the 1960s, produced in Poland by Jarocińskie Fabryki Mebli in 1967, embodies the essence of Polish mid-century modern design. Crafted from solid oak in a warm, medium-brown tone, the table features a distinctive, natural wood grain pattern visible across the entire tabletop. Its semi-matte finish offers a subtle sheen while preserving the authenticity of the material. The tabletop includes a central seam, indicating its extendable function – with a matching leaf, the table can be lengthened to 140 cm for larger gatherings. The legs are straight, gently tapered, and set at a slight outward angle, providing both stability and a sense of visual lightness. The construction is robust, with precise joinery and visible metal fittings at the leg attachments.
