Designed by Ludwik Fiedorowicz for Staszic Glassworks (HSG Tarnowiec), this vase is a vibrant example of Polish art glass from the 1970s. Crafted from translucent, high-gloss red glass, its proportions are striking: a broad, rounded base tapers fluidly into a slender neck, finished with a dramatic, ruffled rim. Three matte white stripes encircle the lower portion of the body, while two small white applied glass drops are positioned symmetrically beneath the rim on opposite sides. The seamless construction and flawlessly smooth texture underscore its skilled craftsmanship. The styling references mid-century modern sensibilities: decoration is restrained, allowing vivid color and clean geometry to take the lead. The vase shows no damage; the surface remains glossy and well-preserved.
