This original, handwoven Chinese silk rug, measuring 62 × 140 cm including fringes, reflects the tradition of Chinese textile craftsmanship from the early 20th century. The main field is rendered in a light beige hue with a subtle silk sheen, giving the surface a gently reflective, lustrous character. The border features a wide brick-red band, framed by a narrow navy edge with a satin-matte finish. Minimalist floral motifs in two corners—stylized flowers and leaves in shades of gold, beige, and deep blue—provide a refined decorative accent against the uniform field.
