The Azilal is a vintage Berber rug from the 1970s, handwoven in Morocco’s High Atlas region. It features a vibrant, multicolored palette set against an off-white and cream background, richly adorned with geometric and abstract motifs in saturated shades of turquoise, magenta, red, yellow, green, purple, orange, and black. The border showcases a black band with white diamond patterns, while a bold turquoise inner line adds structure to the composition. At the center, a large multicolored diamond is surrounded by smaller geometric forms and checkerboard patterns in grey, brown, and blue.
