This handwoven Djosheghan rug, measuring 55 × 80 cm, originates from one of the oldest Persian weaving centers in central-western Iran. Made from high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, it features a dense, tight weave (approx. 250,000 knots/m²) and a medium-pile, subtly lustrous surface (approx. 9 mm). The composition is based on the classical Persian garden layout: the central field is dominated by a warm, saturated red, segmented into chessboard-like geometric compartments filled with stylized floral and vegetal motifs in deep blue, ivory, green, and light blue accents.
