This handwoven Dżuszegan Persian rug, measuring 175 by 260 cm (including fringes), originates from a renowned weaving center in central-western Iran. Crafted from high-quality wool on a cotton warp, it features a dense, compact structure (approx. 360,000 knots/m2) and a pile thickness of around 9 mm. The main color is a warm medium brown with a subtle reddish undertone, enriched by accents of deep red, muted yellow, blue, ivory, purple, and black. Its pattern consists of a regular grid of small diamonds, each filled with stylized botanical motifs, evoking the composition of classical Persian gardens. A wide border is adorned with intricate, repeating geometric and floral designs in shades of gold, cream, red, and purple, set against a slightly lighter background.
