This Ghom/Qom silk rug, measuring approximately 285×185 cm, is a hand-knotted piece rooted in the Persian tradition, crafted in India during the 1990s. Woven from natural silk on a cotton foundation, it features a lustrous surface and remarkable fineness, with a dense knot count visible in the exquisitely crisp patterning. The palette is defined by warm beige and light gold tones in the background, contrasted with motifs in coral red, dusty rose, deep burgundy, muted olive, and navy blue. A large central medallion unfolds symmetrical floral and foliate patterns characteristic of Persian arabesques, while the richly decorated border frames the composition with stylized flowers in rose and coral. Ivory cotton fringes along the edges underscore both the handmade nature and the refinement of the material. The rug is preserved in very good condition,
