This hand-knotted Indo Mir Persian rug, measuring approximately 250x170 cm, is crafted from thick, high-quality wool with a subtle, cashmere-like sheen. The warm, creamy beige background hosts a repeating, classic diamond lattice pattern in deep brown and muted burgundy. The borders form a harmonious ensemble: the innermost is a narrow band with small geometric motifs in burgundy and navy, followed by a wide border richly decorated with stylized floral and geometric designs in shades of red, blue, ochre, and beige, all framed by an outer border in earthy tones. The rug is finished with hand-knotted, cream-colored fringes on both shorter sides. The pile is dense and even, highlighting the precision of craftsmanship, while the soft gloss and gentle surface underscore the quality of the wool.
