This hand-knotted Indo Sarough Mir rug, measuring 200 by 300 cm including fringes, exemplifies classic Persian design interpreted through Indian craftsmanship. The pile is made from high-quality wool, resulting in a dense, soft texture with a matte finish and subtle sheen. The dominant color is a creamy beige, forming the backdrop for repeating boteh (paisley) motifs in burgundy and brown, arranged in a regular diamond lattice. A broad border is richly decorated with floral and geometric details in burnt orange, deep green, light blue, and ivory, creating a vibrant multicolor effect. The edges are finished with hand-knotted fringes in natural white.
