ABOUT PRODUCTID 41971
This hand-knotted Isfahan rug from the 1970s is a testament to the finest Iranian craftsmanship. Made from kork wool and silk—both in the pile and the foundation—it measures 158 × 260 cm including the fringes. The composition centers on a symmetrical medallion in burgundy and navy, surrounded by intricate floral and arabesque motifs set against a creamy-beige silk background. The border features several bands: an inner light blue with floral patterns, a wide ivory section densely decorated with navy and burgundy ornaments, and an outer red band. The knot density is approximately 1,300,000 knots per square meter, ensuring remarkable precision and clarity of detail. The lustrous, smooth surface reveals a palette of gold, light blue, navy, black, and green, highlighting the rug’s luxurious character. Long, white silk fringes and a woven label in the colors
