ABOUT PRODUCTID 10529
This handwoven Kayseri rug from Anatolia, measuring 200 × 320 cm including fringes, exemplifies mid-20th-century Central Anatolian craftsmanship. The warp is made from natural cotton, while the pile consists of high-quality, naturally dyed wool with a subtle, lustrous sheen. A warm, creamy beige background serves as the canvas for a symmetrical, Persian-inspired central medallion, balanced by corner spandrels. Deep burgundy, olive green, muted gold, and dark brown tones—enhanced by accents of black and ivory—compose a decorative arrangement of floral and geometric motifs, framed by multiple guard stripes. The knot density reaches approximately 250,000 knots per square meter, and the pile height is about 10 mm, resulting in a dense, substantial structure with a pleasant tactile quality. The fringes at both ends are neatly knotted in natural cotton. The rug is preserved in very good condition, with no visible stains, worn areas, or significant signs of age. The design
