This antique Kazak rug from the 19th century is a handwoven masterpiece from the Caucasus region, crafted in Azerbaijan within the tradition of semi-nomadic mountain communities. Made entirely from high-quality, naturally dyed wool, the rug features a harmonious composition of three large medallions—two in turquoise and one in red—filled with geometric, stepped motifs and stylized crosses in black, white, and ochre.
