This handwoven Anatolian Kazak rug, crafted in Turkey in the 1970s, is made entirely of high-quality wool for both warp and weft. Measuring 140 x 195 cm including fringes, it features a dense construction with an approximate knot density of 200,000 knots per square meter and a pile thickness of about 10 mm. The color palette is led by a cool light blue in the central field, complemented by striking terracotta orange and deep red, with additional accents of ivory, olive green, and yellow. The composition centers on large medallions, while the wide borders are filled with geometric and star motifs typical of Caucasian and Anatolian traditions.
