This hand-knotted Persian Meshed carpet, originating from early 20th-century Iran, exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of the Khorasan region. Its composition features a deep navy blue central field adorned with intricate, symmetrical floral motifs in shades of beige, cream, light blue, and subtle coral. The wide border, rendered in a light beige tone, is embellished with stylized botanical ornaments and flowing vines that harmoniously frame the darker center. Boasting a knot density of approximately 250,000 knots per square meter, the dense wool pile is slightly lustrous and pleasant to the touch, while the cotton foundation ensures durability and structural integrity. Measuring 250 × 360 cm (including fringes), the carpet is suited to spacious living areas. The edges are neatly finished, and fringes at the shorter ends complete the composition.
