Its surface is densely decorated with the repeating Boteh motif—a cedar bud—rendered in deep navy, cream, and subtle beige tones. The rhythmically ordered pattern fills the central field, while the border consists of multiple bands of geometric and floral ornaments, shifting from beige through grey to hints of light gold.
