This hand-knotted Sivas-Malatya rug (117 x 200 cm) is a testament to the traditional craftsmanship of East-Central Anatolia from the 1960s. Made entirely of natural sheep's wool – both pile and warp – it features a low, dense structure approximately 4 mm thick. The main color is a muted brown with earthy undertones, accented by subtle shades of purple, ochre, beige, and faded blue. The central field is adorned with an architectural 'Seccade' layout, featuring a triple, diamond-shaped medallion with serrated edges, surrounded by stylized rosettes, hooks, and geometric motifs. The wide border is punctuated with star rosettes and traditional 'Tarak' comb patterns. All elements, including fringes and edges
