This hand-knotted Persian Tabriz rug, measuring 230 × 340 cm (including fringes), is crafted from high-quality wool pile on a cotton foundation. The design features classic, multi-tiered borders in deep navy and brown tones, richly decorated with floral motifs. The primary hue is a warm, light beige with subtle abrash, complemented by accents of deep red, muted blue, olive green, and soft brown. The central field is filled with intricately arranged floral and zoomorphic patterns characteristic of Tabriz tradition from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The surface is matte, the texture compact and pleasant to the touch, with gently worn areas lending a noble, patinated appearance. Edges are finished with hand-knotted fringes, showing minor fraying.
