This hand-knotted Persian Tabriz Raj carpet, measuring 250 × 370 cm (including fringes), was crafted in the renowned workshops of Tabriz in northwestern Iran. Made from high-quality kork wool with silk highlights on a cotton foundation, the rug features a dense, uniform, and soft pile with approximately 700,000 knots per square meter and a thickness of about 9 mm. The primary tone is a warm, light beige with a creamy hue, accentuating the richly detailed central medallion surrounded by arabesques and stylized floral motifs in subdued shades of green, burgundy, light blue, terracotta, salmon pink, and deep navy.
