The Malayer Jozan runner rug is a mature example of mid-20th-century Persian craftsmanship, originating from the Hamadan region in western Iran. Measuring 300 cm in length (310 cm including fringes) and 76 cm in width, it is handwoven from high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, using the symmetrical Turkish (Ghiordes) knot – a hallmark of Malayer rugs.
