This vintage runner rug from Turkey, dating to the 1970s, draws on the classic traditions of Anatolian weaving. Crafted with a wool pile on a cotton foundation, it features a low, even surface with a slightly coarse, matte texture typical of handwoven vintage rugs. The central axis is marked by large medallions in brown and beige, each surrounded by a jagged border in green and pink. The primary color is a warm, muted orange, forming a background for smaller motifs in white and brown. The border is enriched with geometric patterns in green, pink, beige, and brown, finished off with a subtle touch of burgundy at the edges.
