This antique French salon set from the late 19th century comprises a sofa and two armchairs, reflecting late neoclassical aesthetics with restrained baroque influences. The structure features straight, geometric wooden frames in a warm, medium-brown hue with a satin finish. The high backs and seats are upholstered in a new, luxurious fabric with vertical stripes: deep burgundy alternates with creamy beige, subtly interwoven with gold threads. Decorative inlays in light wood or brass form delicate floral and geometric motifs across the top rails of the backrests, infusing the set with refined sophistication. The slender, tapered legs end in small brass sabots, while the angular linear armrests complement the set’s geometric style. All pieces are in excellent condition following professional restoration—upholstery is smooth and taut, woodwork undamaged, with no visible signs of wear. This set seems to whisper the ambiance of Parisian fin de siècle salons:
