ABOUT PRODUCTID 29410
Designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Møbelfabrik in the 1970s, this Danish secretary desk (model no. 37) is a refined example of Scandinavian modernism. Crafted in warm teak veneer with a subtle reddish undertone, the piece features a uniform, satin-matte finish that highlights the wood's natural grain. The solid teak legs are slender and slightly splayed, lending the form a sense of lightness. The overall proportions are balanced, while the three lower drawers with oval, recessed handles maintain a minimalist rhythm. The drop-front writing surface opens to reveal an organized interior with two additional small drawers, a shelf, and compartments. Construction is precise, with seamless transitions and virtually invisible joints. The back panel includes two cable management holes, and the desk comes with a working lock and key. Minor signs of use are visible as small scratches or dings, but the surface has been gently refreshed—overall, the desk is in very good condition and ready for everyday use.
