This vintage secretary desk from the 1950s exemplifies German mid-century design, focusing on functionality and precise craftsmanship. The walnut veneer body features a warm, medium brown tone with a distinctive wood grain, while the cream-white Formica writing surface offers durability for daily use. The upper section includes a lockable drop-down door; below are two open shelves and three lower drawers with angular, brushed silver metal handles. The interior shelving and compartments are finished in a lighter, honey-toned wood, creating a subtle two-tone effect. The structure stands on four slightly splayed, tapered legs, characteristic of the era.
