This Danish set, comprising a console table and a mirror, exemplifies mid-century modern design from the 1960s, constructed primarily from rosewood veneer with expressive, reddish-brown grain and a soft satin sheen highlighting the wood’s organic texture. The vertically oriented mirror (110 × 60 cm) and the elegantly slender console (90 × 34 × 45 cm) are both accented with geometric insets of brushed steel in a muted, matte silver finish, their irregular surface lending a tactile, visual rhythm. The compact console stands on four turned, tapering legs stained nearly ebony, setting a sharp contrast against the lighter wood body; each broad drawer front features steel inlays echoing the mirror’s motif. Joinery is precise and inconspicuous, with no visible fasteners—an affirmation of Scandinavian craftsmanship.
