This set of six chairs, designed by Frantisek Jirak and produced by Tatra Nábytok in the 1960s, exemplifies the thoughtful approach of Czech mid-century modern design. The construction features natural, light-toned wood frames with a matte finish and a smooth, subtly satin texture that highlights the wood grain. Both seats and backrests are upholstered in finely woven deep navy blue fabric, which adds a subtle texture and a sense of timeless modernity. The chairs are characterized by clean lines, geometric forms, and an open, airy silhouette: the armrests and legs are angular with gently rounded edges and visible joinery, emphasizing their artisanal quality.
