This set of eight postmodern dining chairs from 1980s Italy exemplifies an architectural approach to functional furniture design. Each chair is crafted from a slender steel frame, lacquered in a deep, glossy black that continues seamlessly across the smooth skai (faux leather) upholstery. The seats and backrests form rectangular, subtly contoured planes, while the legs – straight and narrow – are joined by distinctive arched crossbars that provide both structural stability and visual lightness. The construction is precise, with welded joints and no visible screws or fittings, resulting in a unified and seamless appearance.
