Set of eight dining chairs with armrests, crafted from bent plywood and synthetic fabric, produced in Germany in February 1993. The construction is based on wide, gently curved armrests and legs made from veneered plywood in a deep, chocolate-brown shade with a slightly glossy finish and visible wood grain. The seats and high backs are upholstered in a matte, soft medium taupe-grey fabric featuring a pronounced woven texture and a subtly mottled appearance. Each backrest is adorned with two fabric-covered buttons, adding a touch of detail and depth. The proportions of the set are harmonious: wide seats, tall backs, smoothly rounded edges, and the absence of visible metal fittings emphasize the solidity and unity of the design. The overall style reflects late modernism and minimalism typical of the late 1980s and early 1990s, combining functionality with restrained form.
