This set of five Art Deco glasses, crafted in the 1930s by the Józefina glassworks of Szklarska Poręba, exemplifies interwar Polish glassmaking at its finest. Each glass is composed of a clear, two-layered crystal bowl, gently flared and finely decorated with geometric and floral engravings typical of the Art Deco period. The bowls feature a matte-satin surface with crisp, precise cuts, while the short stems have faceted, truncated conical bases made from amber-colored glass. The faceted bases create a subtle interplay of light, ranging in hue from pale honey to deep amber, underscoring a luxurious yet balanced design. All connections between bowls and stems are seamless, reflecting the craftsmanship of the era. The set is preserved in good condition—clean surfaces without chips or cracks, and no restoration traces have been observed.These glasses speak with the voice of refined 1930s modernism, when luxury met skilled craftsmanship and a love of geometric ornament.
