The Capri set, designed by Johannes Andersen for Trensum Möbelfabrik in the 1960s, includes a sofa and lounge chair—both unified in proportion and finish. Each piece is upholstered in a matte, finely woven fabric with a rich maroon hue. The sofa features an elongated elliptical silhouette, smoothly curved backrest, gently flared armrests, and three softly contoured seat cushions. The chair echoes the rounded motif with its low, cocoon-like seat, set on a dark wooden base. The sofa rests on slender, slightly angled legs, while the chair is supported by a four-star revolving base. The overall design conceals all joinery, presenting a seamless, minimalist expression in line with Scandinavian mid-century modernism. The set has been restored, fitted with new upholstery, and remains in very good condition, showing no visible signs of wear, damage, or repairs.
