This set of four chairs, designed by Antonín Šuman in the 1960s for the renowned Czechoslovak manufacturer Tatra Nabytok, is a quintessential example of mid-century modern design. Each chair features an organically curved plywood backrest with a subtle teardrop-shaped cutout and gently splayed, tapered solid wood legs. The warm, medium walnut finish enhances the natural wood grain, lending depth and richness to the form.
