A set of four chairs designed by Ludvík Volák for the Czech furniture manufacturer Holešov in the 1960s. The construction features bentwood in a light brown, honey-toned shade, with harmoniously sculpted armrests and slender legs that give the ensemble a subtly sculptural silhouette. The frame reveals the natural wood grain and a smooth, semi-gloss finish, emphasizing the organic character of the design. The seats and backrests are upholstered in deep black, textured fabric with a prominent woven structure, providing a bold contrast to the warm wood. A distinctive cut-out between the seat and backrest imparts both visual lightness and functional breathability. Visible screw joints attest to the solid craftsmanship, while the proportions—wide seats and ergonomically curved backrests—ensure comfort.
