This set of six Italian Regia dining chairs, designed by Antonello Mosca for Ycami in the 1980s, exemplifies the bold postmodern design language of the era. Each chair is fully upholstered in black genuine leather—frame, seat, and backrest—forming a cohesive and monolithic silhouette. The tall, rectangular backrest, defined by an open frame with rounded corners, imparts architectural lightness while emphasizing the sculptural essence of the design. Cylindrical legs, slightly splayed outward, add a dynamic, modernist flair. The leather surface is smooth, subtly glossy, and uniform in finish, while the absence of visible screws or hardware highlights the precision of craftsmanship. The proportions are slender: 102 cm high, with a width and depth of 45 and 47 cm respectively.
