This set of four German porcelain cups with matching saucers, produced in the 20th century, is a carefully curated collection with a distinctly collectible character. Each cup and saucer features its own hand-painted floral motif—from expressive blue and red-orange flowers to vibrant yellow and multicolored accents. The base of each piece is a warm, slightly creamy white porcelain with a glossy glaze, lending a luminous effect. Gilded rims and handles highlight the set’s classic origins, while scalloped edges and ornate handles evoke the romantic, traditional European design language of the mid-20th century. The oldest cup, marked Carstens Sorau, brings a pre-war element to the ensemble; the others hail from renowned Bavarian manufactories such as Seltmann Weiden, Schumann, and Bareuther. The set has been preserved in good, original condition, with minor scratches and some gentle wear to the gilding typical for vintage porcelain, but without cracks or chips.
