This set of five 'Pascale' dining chairs, designed by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima Italy in the 1970s, features cantilevered frames crafted from bent tubular metal in a matte dark brown finish. Each chair is distinguished by a wide, low seat and a rounded, enveloping backrest, both upholstered in smooth, light beige leather with a satin-like sheen. Subtle pleating at the back of the backrest adds visual interest and enhances comfort. The color palette is neutral, highlighting the contrast between the warm beige leather and the almost black-brown metal frame. The construction follows the flowing, organic lines characteristic of 1970s Italian modernism, with visible welded joints and seamless curves in the metal tubing. The original golden company stamp under each seat confirms the authenticity of the set. The condition is described as good: only gentle creasing, a light patina on the leather, and minor signs of age are present, with no major damage.
