The set of five I-114 glasses is a Timo Sarpaneva design for the Finnish brand Iittala from the 1960s. Each glass is crafted from thin-walled glass in a milky, semi-translucent hue with a subtle satin-matte finish—there is no gloss, no ornamentation, and no decorative relief. The cylindrical shape, straight parallel sides, and harmonious proportions express the restrained functionalism characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian modernism. There are no visible seams or joints on the surface; each piece is precisely shaped with a perfectly smooth rim and evenly finished, flat base. The glass features a cool, understated tone creating a muted, opalescent visual effect with a slight hint of foggy coloring. The set is preserved in very good condition—one glass has a shallow chip on the upper rim, while the others remain free of stains or clouding.
