This set of four 'Prague' No. 811 armchairs, designed by Josef Hoffmann and produced in Poland in the 1970s by Zakład Mebli Giętych in Radomsko (formerly Thonet), exemplifies the refined union of bent beechwood and hand-woven natural rattan. The design features matte black frames with a subtle sheen, smoothly rounded armrests, and gently arched legs. Both seats and backs are woven by hand in the classic Viennese caning pattern—the seats display a golden patina, while the backs appear lighter, preserving elements of the original rattan with partial restoration. The construction is defined by seamless, visible bentwood joints, a signature of the Thonet tradition.
