This set of four bar stools from Belgium, dating to the 1960s, exemplifies a brutalist approach to design, where solid oak meets bold, industrial detailing. Each stool stands on three substantial, curved oak legs, joined by a circular steel footrest finished in matte black. The seats are irregular, sculptural, and notably textured, with roughly hewn, chiseled edges and a distinct tactile surface.
