This set of four bistro chairs from the 1950s features classic bentwood construction with round, hand-woven rattan seats. The design is based on harmoniously curved wooden frames, gently arched backrests with vertical spindles, and decorative finials crowning the top rails. The legs are slightly splayed and connected by a circular stretcher, giving the set both visual lightness and stability. The color palette centers on a warm, medium honey-brown wood with a semi-matte finish, complemented by the lighter, natural beige of the rattan. Visible wood grain and a subtle sheen highlight the traditional craftsmanship of Central European makers, drawing inspiration from Thonet or J&J Kohn patterns. The rattan seats are tightly woven and undamaged, with only minimal signs of age-related use. One of the decorative finials shows a minor chip.
