This set of four brutalist dining chairs from 1960s Germany exemplifies the bold vision of mid-century design. Crafted entirely from solid wood, the construction emphasizes robust geometry and sculptural presence. The two-tone finish defines their character: seats and backrests in a warm, honey-toned brown with a semi-gloss sheen contrast with the frame, legs, and supports in a deeper, rustic brown with a matte surface. The backrests feature a scalloped, decorative top edge and are fashioned from thick, flat planks, while the seats comprise two broad, contoured boards showcasing visible grain and natural knots.
