The set of four Ant Model 3101 chairs exemplifies Danish modernism, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in the 1970s. Each chair features molded plywood seats and backrests, veneered with teak in a warm, medium-dark brown tone with visible wood grain providing natural depth. The seats and backs are organically curved, inspired by the silhouette of an ant, while the slender, tubular steel legs in polished chrome introduce a cool, mirrored accent to the composition. The seat-to-leg joints are invisible from above, with mounting screws visible only underneath, preserving the harmonious proportions and clean rhythm of the design. This set has undergone professional restoration: the wooden elements have been cleaned and finished with a semi-matte lacquer, and the chrome legs have been carefully polished. All original parts, including rubber feet, are present and intact. The overall condition is excellent, with even coloration and no signs of heavy use.
