The set of four Bambi chairs, designed by Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling for the Norwegian manufacturer Gustav Bahus in the 1960s, exemplifies Scandinavian modernism at its most authentic. The warm reddish-brown wooden frames are finished in a satin semi-matte sheen, which highlights the natural grain and depth of the material. The organically curved backrests flow seamlessly into slender, tapered legs reinforced by horizontal stretchers, resulting in a form that is both airy and structurally stable. The seats are upholstered in light beige velvet with a soft, matte, gently plush texture, harmonizing with the muted palette of Norwegian interiors from the era.
