This set of four dining chairs, designed by Kai Kristiansen in Denmark during the 1970s, exemplifies classic Danish modernism: solid rosewood construction meets new upholstery in deep black natural leather. The rich, dark wood displays pronounced natural grain, finished in a semi-matte sheen that gently reflects light and emphasizes the material's depth. Seats and ergonomically curved backrests are upholstered in smooth, matte leather, while the overall composition is defined by balanced proportions and precise, invisible joinery. The chairs feature slender, tapered legs and armrests seamlessly integrated into the frame, staying true to the mid-century modern ethos of functional clarity and comfort. Each chair stands 76 cm tall, 48 cm wide, and 51 cm deep, with a seat height of 45 cm. Preserved in very good condition: the upholstery is new, and the wood shows only minor signs of use typical for furniture of the era, with no visible damage or repairs.
