This set of four Farstrup chairs from the 1960s captures the essence of Danish craftsmanship and mid-century modern design. Each chair combines beech wood for the frame and legs with a gently curved teak backrest, highlighted by a satin finish that reveals the natural wood grain—from the honey brown of the beech structure to the warm, subtly reddish hue of the teak. The seats are newly upholstered in a tightly woven wool and silk fabric in a neutral, light taupe-grey shade with a fine melange texture. The palette is understated and harmonious, with organic lines, contoured backrests, and tapered legs reflecting the ergonomic and airy spirit of 1960s Scandinavian furniture.
