This set of four Casalino chairs, designed by Alexander Begge for Casala in 1970s Germany, embodies the hallmarks of Space Age design. Each chair is crafted from molded plastic in a uniform, vivid light lime green with a high-gloss finish. The construction is entirely seamless—there are no visible joints or screws. The continuous S-shaped silhouette flows from the base through the seat to the backrest, creating a single, sculptural whole. The wide, stable base and gently curved back offer ergonomic comfort, while the smooth, hard surface is accentuated by softly rounded edges. The overall profile is distinctly aerodynamic and monolithic. These chairs are relatively lightweight, allowing for easy repositioning and flexible interior arrangements.
