This set of four Danish dining chairs from the 1970s encapsulates the values of Scandinavian modernism, harmoniously blending natural materials with clean, carefully resolved forms. Solid oak in a mellow, honey-toned satin finish defines the frame and elegantly tapered, slightly splayed legs. The seat backs, fashioned from teak-veneered plywood with their distinctive butterfly profile and deep reddish-brown hue, offer striking contrast against the lighter grain of the oak. Seats have been newly upholstered in matte black faux leather, smooth to the touch and effortless to maintain on a daily basis. Visible mortise and tenon joints and side stretchers subtly reflect honest craftsmanship.
